Soccer Recap: Blue Ridge Early College Takes a Loss

Blue Ridge Early College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Towns County Indians. While losing is never fun, Blue Ridge Early College can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 412th in North Carolina, while Towns County are ranked 181st in Georgia).

Blue Ridge Early College's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Towns County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Blue Ridge Early College face off against Tri-County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Blue Ridge Early College is facing Tri-County at the right time seeing as Tri-County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Towns County, they will venture away from home to face off against Washington-Wilkes at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
