Soccer Game Preview: Millbrook School vs. Kent School

The Millbrook School Mustangs will challenge the Kent School Lions at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Millbrook School took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Frederick Gunn, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Highlanders on Saturday, sneaking past 4-3.

Meanwhile, Kent School had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Wild Boars get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Millbrook School now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Kent School, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything went Millbrook School's way against Kent School in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Millbrook School made off with a 7-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
