Volleyball Recap: Chaffey Gets the Win

Chaffey hadn't done well against Montclair recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Chaffey Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Montclair Cavaliers. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Cavaliers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Chaffey had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 26-24, 25-23, 25-20.

The win made it two in a row for Chaffey and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Montclair, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaffey will welcome Chino at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montclair, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ontario at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Ontario's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
