After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ovid-Elsie, Byron was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They secured a 41-35 W over the Montrose Rams. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 37-25 win the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2025.

Byron's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Montrose, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Byron will head out to square off against Webberville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Montrose, they will challenge Ovid-Elsie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
