Tallwood and Ocean Lakes are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. Tallwood is taking a road trip to take on Ocean Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Tallwood's victory against Landstown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Tallwood came out on top in a nail-biter against Landstown on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Ocean Lakes gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Everything went their way against First Colonial as Ocean Lakes made off with a 7-1 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Dolphins have posted against the Patriots since March 18, 2022.

Sam Patterson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.

At the plate, Ocean Lakes let Devyn Sawyer and Gracie Wilson run wild. Sawyer scored a run while going 3-for-4, while Wilson went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Ipper Smith, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Tallwood couldn't quite get it done against Ocean Lakes when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can Tallwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
