Altha has gone 8-2 against Liberty County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Altha Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Liberty County Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

While Altha didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Wakulla Christian School, posting a 70-38 win.

Meanwhile, Liberty County put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 76-53 margin over Aucilla Christian. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Warriors are ranked 521st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Altha better keep an eye on Kashon Chambers. He was instrumental in Liberty County's win, putting up 25 points. The contest was Chambers' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gustavo Rubio, who posted 13 points.

Liberty County's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Altha, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Altha strolled past Liberty County when the teams last played back in January by a score of 69-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Altha since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
