Basketball Recap: Scotlandville Takes a Loss

Scotlandville was the 60-52 winner over West Feliciana when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Scotlandville Hornets received a blow on Thursday as they fell 43-24 to the West Feliciana Saints. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

It was another big night for Samaria Berry, who posted 17 points for West Feliciana. With that strong performance, Berry is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Harmony White, who put up seven points.

Scotlandville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for West Feliciana, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Scotlandville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 39-20 loss against Livonia on the 23rd. As for West Feliciana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-16 win against Port Allen on the 30th.
