Baseball Recap: Dakota Ridge Wins Going Away Against D'evelyn

Dakota Ridge came out on top against D'Evelyn on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Eagles blew past the Jaguars 11-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-5 back in April.

Jackson Barrett was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Dakota Ridge is undefeated when Barrett posts two or more runs, but 5-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Breckin Maynes, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Dakota Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for D'Evelyn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-13.
