Softball Recap: Park City Miners vs. Jordan Beetdiggers

Park City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 24-4 to the Jordan Beetdiggers. Park City was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jordan apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on April 11th.

Park City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Pecheux, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and a triple.

On Jordan's side, Megan Eccles was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Eccles was also big at the plate, scoring three runs.

In other batting news, Jordan got a massive performance out of Abbie Johansen, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Azuree Watson, who went 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI.

As for Jordan, they will head out on the road to face off against Murray at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Murray is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
