Volleyball Recap: Greene County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greene County lost against East Central back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Hornets. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Greene County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-20, 25-9, 25-19.

This is the second loss in a row for Greene County and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for East Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greene County will face off against Richton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pass Christian at 6:30 p.m.
