Callie Averett gave up the fewest hits she has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. She made a splash, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Ogden back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Averett has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
