Volleyball Recap: Angola's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Angola had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Angola was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 25-9.

Maya Harris paced Angola's offense, picking up 22 kills. Harris got some help from Aspen Sutton and her 38 assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Angola's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Angola will venture away from home to square off against DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Barons have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they are taking a road trip to challenge Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
