Ballard came tearing into Monday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Winterset Huskies by a score of 44-37. The 44-point effort marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ballard pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Winterset, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.
