Softball Game Preview: Hackensack Comets vs. Kennedy Knights

The Hackensack Comets will head out on the road to face off against the Kennedy Knights at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Hackensack has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hackensack lost 19-5 to Weehawken on Saturday. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Kennedy fell victim to Clifton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 19-0.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Hackensack, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16-1.

Everything went Hackensack's way against Kennedy when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Hackensack made off with an 18-1 victory. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
