Vanguard kept a clean sheet against Gainesville on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hurricanes. Considering Vanguard have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kendal Davis and Ruby Scott scored all three of Vanguard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Vanguard's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Gainesville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vanguard will take on Trinity Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gainesville, they will face off against Santa Fe at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
