Volleyball Recap: Chesapeake's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Chesapeake had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Dawson-Bryant Hornets 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 25-14.

Abbey Isaacs paced Chesapeake's offense, picking up ten kills. Isaacs got some help from Lila Ferguson and her 17 assists.

Chesapeake's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Dawson-Bryant, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chesapeake is set to take on their familiar foe South Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dawson-Bryant will face off against rival Gallia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
