Basketball Recap: Twin Loup Takes a Loss

Twin Loup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 54-44 to the Brady Eagles. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 49-24 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Defeat or not, Twin Loup got some senior leadership from Ragan Mauler and Madison Glidden. Mauler posted 20 points and eight boards, while Glidden almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. That was a full 45.5% of Twin Loup's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Even though they lost, Twin Loup was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Brady got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taryn Stearns out in front who earned 16 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Mcgown, who had 17 points along with five assists and five steals.

Twin Loup's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Brady, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Twin Loup will welcome Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brady, they will head out to square off against Maxwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
