Softball Recap: Strawn Takes a Loss

If Strawn was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Three Way last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Strawn came up short against the Santo Wildcats on Friday, falling 12-1. The Greyhounds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Strawn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Santo, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Strawn is set to square off against their familiar foe Huckabay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Santo will face off against rival Graford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
