Soccer Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Pointe Stallions. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South Pointe, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern will take on Nation Ford at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for South Pointe, they will welcome Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
