Basketball Recap: Vienna Takes a Loss

Vienna lost against Crocker back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vienna Eagles came up short against the Crocker Lions, falling 58-36. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Vienna saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Teagan James went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points. Dylan Long was another key player, putting up five points.

Vienna's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Crocker, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Crocker, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Richland at 6:30 p.m.
