Rocket City came tearing into Saturday's contest with seven straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the East Central HomeSchool Patriots 18-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-4 on Saturday.

Jordan Taylor was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Isaac Schrimsher, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Rocket City's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for East Central HomeSchool, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocket City will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 1:00 p.m. on February 22nd. As for East Central HomeSchool, they will face off against Heritage Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
