Soccer Game Preview: E.D. White vs. St. Michael

The E.D. White Cardinals will square off against the St. Michael Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

E.D. White took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Terrebonne.

Meanwhile, St. Michael had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Bengals onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering the Warriors have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

E.D. White is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for St. Michael, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-5-2.

E.D. White came up short against St. Michael when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 2-0. Can E.D. White avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
