Softball Recap: Houston County Bears vs. Harris County Tigers
Houston County lost against Harris County back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Houston County Bears took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harris County Tigers.
Houston County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season. As for Harris County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.
Houston County will square off against Northside at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Northside will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Houston County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harris County, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Northgate at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both have allowed few runs on average, (Harris County: 1.8, Northgate: 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
