After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arp, Troup was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gladewater Bears 66-28. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 31 points or more this season.

Troup pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Gladewater, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Troup Tigers take on the Cayuga Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gladewater, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tatum at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
