While Scripps Ranch's victory against University City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons skirted past the Centurions 3-2. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one run.
Kenzie Johnson looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Scripps Ranch's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Cornelissen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Jacquelin Lee also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

As for University City, they will take on Mira Mesa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marauders will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Centurions surely won't give up without a fight.
