Volleyball Recap: West Clermont Takes a Loss

West Clermont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lebanon Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Madison Kyle had a dynamite game For Lebanon., getting 17 digs and three aces. Kyle is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.

West Clermont's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lebanon, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

West Clermont and Lebanon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Wolves will challenge Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (492 vs. 28). Meanwhile, Lebanon (ranked 288th) will meet Loveland (ranked 35th) at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
