Football Recap: Ogden Find Success

It's playoff time, and Ogden had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Canyon View Falcons 14-12. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 27-23 win the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2022.

Blake Weston threw for 125 yards on nine of 18 attempts. Jack Thompson was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards. On the ground, Ryker Rice rushed for 86 yards and a pair of scores.

Despite the loss, Canyon View still got an impressive performance from Ryder Miller, who rushed for 62 yards and one TD.

Ogden has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Canyon View, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Ogden will take on Cedar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Reds have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven matchups. Canyon View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
