Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson lost against Chapin back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Silver Foxes lost 3-0 to the Huskies.

Leading Chapin to victory were Gianna Dominguez and Alianni Romero. Dominguez had 17 digs and four aces, while Romero had 14 digs and two aces. Dominguez has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played. Ja'Lynn Valadez also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Jefferson now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Chapin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Coming up, Jefferson will head out on the road to face off against Clint at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday. The Silver Foxes are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Chapin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Las Cruces on the 30th.
