Angleton had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ball Tornadoes on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win got Angleton back to even at 7-7-1. As for Ball, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Angleton and Ball could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Angleton will face off against Santa Fe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 401 places (590 vs. 189). Meanwhile, Ball (ranked 677th) will meet Iowa Colony (ranked 256th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
