Football Recap: ED White Starts Season with Victory Against Tocoi Creek

ED White took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 19-6 win over the Tocoi Creek Toros.

The critical scores for ED White came from Lylian Curtis, Zykeria Luellen, and Amera Bossard.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to ED White's defense and their four sacks. Leading the way was Carlincea Dillon with two. ED White got some further help from MaKayla Jordan: she made three total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.

This is the second loss in a row for Tocoi Creek and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

ED White didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-6 loss against Sandalwood on the 21st. As for Tocoi Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 38-0 defeat against Florida State University High School on the 21st.
