The Twinsburg Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-36 victory over the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers on Wednesday thanks in part to Hutton, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave her a new career-high.
The win was the fourth in a row for Twinsburg, bringing their record for this year to 14-5. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Coming up, Twinsburg will host Highland at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Highland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Twinsburg likes a good challenge. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they will head out to face off against Stow-Munroe Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuyahoga Falls is facing Stow-Munroe Falls at the right time seeing as Stow-Munroe Falls is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
