Basketball Recap: Wright City Victorious

Wright City's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 68-57 victory over the Valliant Bulldogs. This was payback for the Lumberjax, who suffered a 51-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Wright City's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Valliant, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.

When Wright City and Valliant next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Wright City will try to stop Smithville's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Similarly, Valliant will take on Battiest and their three-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
