Baseball Recap: DuBois Beavers vs. Punxsutawney Chucks

DuBois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Punxsutawney Chucks. DuBois was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Punxsutawney apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

DuBois saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Clark, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

On Punxsutawney's side, Coy Martino made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Martino has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
