Baseball Recap: Easthampton/Hampshire Takes a Loss

Easthampton/Hampshire lost a heartbreaker to Greenfield when they met back in May of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 2-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Green Wave recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Patrick Larson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks.

Easthampton/Hampshire's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Greenfield, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Easthampton/Hampshire and Greenfield will both be playing Frontier Regional the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Red Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Green Wave will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
