Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Huskies vs. Perry Pumas
Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Perry Pumas. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pumas this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-14.
Edward Lee paced Hamilton's offense, picking up seven kills. Lee got some help from Aaron McRae and his 19 assists. McRae was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Perry, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-3.
Coming up, Hamilton will take on Westwood in a tournament on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Perry, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Basha on the 17th.
