Softball Recap: Hermitage Panthers vs. Maggie Walker
Hermitage's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Maggie Walker out 12-11. Hermitage's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Maggie Walker's part, Alyssa Jones and Hadley Walder stepped up to the plate in a big way. Jones got on base in four of her five plate appearances with a home run, three RBI, and a triple, while Walder scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
