Baseball Game Preview: Bolsa Grande Matadors vs. Los Amigos Lobos

The Bolsa Grande Matadors will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Los Amigos Lobos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bolsa Grande will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Los Amigos, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Bolsa Grande came out on top against Los Amigos by a score of 9-5 on Saturday.

Bolsa Grande let Geoffrey Guerrero and Rudy Carrillo run wild. Guerrero scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Carrillo went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Carrillo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Damien Montes De Oca, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Los Amigos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bolsa Grande, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Bolsa Grande beat Los Amigos 9-5 when the teams last played on Saturday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bolsa Grande since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
