Softball Game Preview: Bishop McNamara Mustangs vs. Maret Frogs

The Bishop McNamara Mustangs will square off against the Maret Frogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bishop McNamara has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bishop McNamara came up short against Paul VI on Friday, falling 11-4. The Mustangs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Christina Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaslyne Ivey, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Maret didn't have quite enough to beat School Without Walls on Friday and fell 17-15.

Bishop McNamara now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Maret, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
