Volleyball Recap: Leo Comes Up Short

Leo managed to slip by Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Saints on Tuesday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

While Leo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger can attribute much of their success to Amaya Mooney, who had nine digs and two aces.

Leo's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Leo will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Wayne Northrop at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they will challenge Homestead at 7:30 p.m. on September 4.
