Volleyball Recap: Union Has No Trouble Against Northeast Lauderdale

Union won the last time they faced Northeast Lauderdale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellowjackets blew past the Trojans 3-0.

Union got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 31-29, 25-19.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aliyah Stewart, who had nine assists and five digs.

Union is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Northeast Lauderdale, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Union will take on West Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
