Volleyball Recap: Liberty's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Liberty lost against Hemet back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bison took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While the Bison didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-20 in the first set.

Liberty started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-17.

Liberty's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Hemet, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will host Orange Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hemet, they will take on Vista Murrieta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
