Baseball Recap: Camden Catholic Comes Up Short

Camden Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 8-3 to the Seneca Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Irish of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Camden Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Ladner, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That hit marked the first that Ladner has got this season.

Camden Catholic's record now sits at 0-8. As for Seneca, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Coming up, Camden Catholic will take on Bishop Eustace Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seneca, they will challenge Paul VI at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
