Volleyball Recap: Billings Beats Blue Eye for Their Third Straight Victory

Billings entered their tilt with Blue Eye on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

While Billings might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Blue Eye scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Billings found their leader in freshman Andi Bellamy, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Despite the defeat, Blue Eye saw an underclassman step up: freshman Alyssa Dickelman had 22 digs. Dickelman is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Billings' victory bumped their record up to 24-10-4. As for Blue Eye, their loss dropped their record down to 23-8-3.

Billings has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against New Heights Christian Academy on the 30th. Blue Eye does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
