Baseball Recap: South Dearborn Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

South Dearborn and Greensburg squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but South Dearborn had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 9-1. The Knights have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

South Dearborn's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Greensburg, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.

South Dearborn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greensburg, they will square off against Batesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
