South Plainfield extended their postseason success on Friday against Summit. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hilltoppers a 2-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.

South Plainfield's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Summit, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-5 record.

Looking ahead, South Plainfield will challenge Randolph on Tuesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
