Basketball Recap: Nicolet Finds Playoff Glory Versus Whitefish Bay

It's playoff time, and Nicolet had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes by a score of 75-65 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Blue Dukes: they've now won six in a row.

Nicolet got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rashaad Davis out in front who shot 56% from the field en route to 26 points and five assists. The match was Davis' fourth in a row with at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was David Bolden, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards.

Davis wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Nicolet was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Nicolet's record now sits at 19-6. As for Whitefish Bay, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-14.

Nicolet didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-60 loss against Cedarburg on the 8th. Whitefish Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
