Volleyball Recap: Visitation Academy Comes Up Short

Visitation Academy lost against St. Dominic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vivettes lost 3-0 to the Crusaders.

Visitation Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-11.

Emily Frazier was nothing short of spectacular for St. Dominic: she had 17 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave Frazier a new career-high.

Visitation Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for St. Dominic, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Coming up, Visitation Academy will square off against Notre Dame at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Dominic, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Joseph's Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
