Basketball Recap: Wells Takes a Loss

Wells lost against Eureka back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wells Leopards took a blow against the Eureka Vandals, falling 66-36.

Wells has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for Eureka, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Wells and Lund will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Lund will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wells surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eureka, they and Jackpot will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Eureka is facing Jackpot at the right time seeing as Jackpot is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
