Volleyball Recap: Fall Mountain Comes Up Short

After flying high against Conant on Monday, Fall Mountain came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Hanover Bears on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-12.

Olivia Grabinski was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 22 assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 12.7 assists per game.

Fall Mountain has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Hanover, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Fall Mountain has already played their next contest (against Winnisquam), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hanover, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against ConVal on the 3rd.
