Victory Baptist entered their tilt with Praise Academy on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 75-67 win over the Lions.

It was another big night for Myles Lewis-Taggart, who posted 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziggy Binitie, who had 16 points.

Victory Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Praise Academy, they moved to 16-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Victory Baptist will be playing at home against Peachtree Academy at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Warrior will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.21 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Praise Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Hearts Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
